St. John’s – Reminder: 2000-2006 VHS tapes St Johns church services

VHS tapes of services from the years 2000 to 2006 are still available
to anyone who wants them.   2000-2004 tapes are located in the church
basement.  2005-2006 tapes are currently at the back of the church.
Tapes of 2007 and 2008 will become available in the next couple of weeks
as we review, label, and save the portions we want for the church.
All available tapes have been checked on a known good VCR and will
play, though some may have -minor- noise or picture issues due to age.
Any that have failed have been disposed of.

Also, if anyone wants to digitally save parts or all of these
services, we have created a space in the basement where you can
convert and save any of these services (or any part of them) to either
an MP3 or MP4 digital file (also for free).  This file format will
play on any PC, Mac, or Android device.  The converted file can
temporarily be saved on either a USB 3.0 stick (provided) or microSD
card (you provide) for eventual transfer to the device of your
choosing.   Talk to David Finzel if you would like assistance in using
the provided equipment to save anything from these tapes.  Once
everyone has had a chance to save what they want, the remaining tapes can
be taken or will be disposed of.
